Back by popular demand – visitors to Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit over the 25-27 May can expect to see three explosive freestyle performances per day from international Stunt & Wheelie Champion, Julien “RazorBack” Welsch flying in from his hometown, France, to perform for our nations 2-wheel fanatics and their families!
Julien was just one of the many highlights of the festival in 2016 and due to an overwhelming demand from the local market, organisers are pleased to announce his return alongside a partnership with Reconstructed.
Theunis De Bruin, the Founder and Owner of Reconstructed, is the man responsible for bringing Julien back to our shores and had this to say: “My team and I are thrilled to be part of the 2018 festival, and cannot wait to welcome the 20 000 visitors with some awesome performances from Julien. The goal is to bring the sport and hobby of Pro Streetbike Freestyle and custom building to the masses to educate and entertain over the three days. Those who visit the Reconstructed stand can expect to see some of SA’s best custom built motorcycles including one of the most searched for motorcycles on Instagram... Plus international celebrity makeup artist, Maya Mia, will be on our stand to entertain the crowd with photos and autographs along with Julien Welsch.“
If that’s not enough to whet all petrol-heads’ appetites! Monster Energy are staging TWO Freestyle Motocross nighttime performances and are treating us by flying in international FMX hero from Australia, Brayden “Muggins” Davies, performing live with local heroes Alastair Sayer, Dallan Goldman & Scottie Billet. All this PLUS a drifting vs. trial biking stunt show taking place with our favourite, Le Riche Brothers and champion car drifter, Jason Webb.

It includes a dedicated Pit Roof viewing area, VIP parking, complimentary beers, wine and selected spirits, helmet and jacket storage and a festival branded cup as well as a delicious “Italian Inspired Harvest Table” menu, rooted in authenticity, driven by what you’d find people eating all over Italy. Taking inspiration from the “Italian table” – where people relax, share and enjoy each other’s company – Jamie’s Italian menu will be packed full of antipasti and nibbles, perfect for sharing, as well as comforting bowls of pasta, beautiful fresh salads and secondi.
For those who have never been on a motorcycle before but want to experience what its like to have their own independence and mobility there will be teams of training facilities to encourage those who want to “give it a go”. Harley-Davidson will be offering ‘Motorcycle 101’ lessons on everything from understanding bike controls to learning how to ride smaller cc bikes in a safe and friendly environment. These are introductory courses and are the first steps on the journey to freedom!
