Youthstream is delighted to announce that Russia will continue to be part of the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar until 2023.
The Russian MXGP has been an important part of the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar over the last three years witnessing successful events and outstanding ceremonies to welcome MXGP at Orlyonok.
During the 2019 Monster Energy FIM MXON the announcement conference was held were in attendance Youthstream CEO David Luongo, Organizer of the MXGP of Russia and Motorcycle Federation of Russia (MFR) President, Alexander Dzheus, MFR General Secretary Parshin Evgeniy and Executive Director of the MFR Tepper Nikita gathered on stage to share the excitement about the renewal of the contract.
Youthstream CEO David Luongo: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with the organizer of MXGP of Russia for 3 more years. Orlyonok became a must to go in the MXGP World Championship calendar. Thanks to the perfect location, situated in a very beautiful area along the Black Sea and a demanding track which offer great elevation and relief. Russia is a very important country for motocross fans and has a big history related to motocross. I want to thank Alexander Dzheus, the MFR and all his team to make this Grand Prix possible."
Organizer of the MXGP of Russia and Motorcycle Federation of Russia (MFR) President, Alexander Dzheus: “We are very honoured to continue working with Youthstream for the upcoming seasons. Looking into the future, we would like to bring the MXGP to some new venues because we have some great tracks near Moscow and Saint Petersburg.For us it is also very important to prepare the young in order to grow the sport, so we are working a lot with the MXGP Academy; this is also an important part of our work for the Federation. We are extremely pleased to continue to bring the MXGP to Russia for another 3 years. We invite you all to the MXGP of Russia and we are looking forward to seeing you all there soon”.
