Dear Federations,

I am sure you will all agree that without our volunteers, we would not be able to put on any of our events, be it competition or social.

Volunteers are the very backbone of the sport, whether they are officials, timekeepers, marshals or those who handle all the administrative work behind the scenes. We rely on these people to have passion and commitment, and often we abuse their time which could well be spent with their families and their jobs. In light of this, we have created a SPOTLIGHT On Volunteers project.

Through this, we ask that you send the information attached to all your clubs, and that they put these special individuals forward for recognition. There is a criteria, so read it carefully, and kindly submit to FIM Africa along with photographs so we can acknowledge these persons publicly.
