We have recently launched world’s first online learning platform for motorsport officials and the FIM family worldwide.

The FIM President, Mr. Vito Ippolito said: “I’m really glad with UAEMC - ATCUAE introducing this new learning tool for FIM officials and marshals worldwide. It can be used by all our Clubs and it gives us the convenience of studying in our own time, place and pace. This e-learning platform is a modern way of continuous learning and solution to communicate updates in the future”.

The service is available via computer, tablet or smart phone on www.motorsportknowledgeinstitute.org/e-academy and no fees are charged to officials and marshals who create their profiles using this unique membership card number provided through FIM member Clubs: 2015 0000 0000 0001

The first three modules deal with subjects that have been in demand from the motorsport community in recent years. The first is termed Psychological First Aid and is designed to support psychological needs of officials who have dealt with or witnessed a traumatising incident. The second is titled Media Crisis Communication and the third – Critical Incident Management for Chief Medical Officers.

I believe in the need to share experience and lessons that we all have learnt with the FIM family and an online platform is the ideal educational channel these days.
