The 2017 FIM Touring season starts in El Salvador!

After the approval of the new rules for touristic gatherings, the FIM is happy to announce that the first event of the FIM International Challenge will take place in El Salvador from 23 to 25 February. Run under the aegis of the Federación Salvadorena de Motociclismo (FESAMOTO) and under the auspices of FIM Latin America, the "XI CONVENCIÓN INTERNACIONAL EL SALVADOR 2017" will gather together passionate riders from all over the American Continent.

This mountain bike event was with FIM Africa support..Conservation/ Environment motto "STOP POACHING"


FIM banners were in promenant positions at the start at Lilayi Lodge Lusaka. Each rider received a bumper sticker depicting the FIM Africa logo and the motto Stop Poaching with a pic of a rhino . very nice


It was a very serious three day event 257km through the bush over very tough terrain ending at a resort on the Zambezi river.
