We set off on the 14th of November 2015 from Esat London, UK, with high hopes but few expectations. I was not nearly ready enough. I had only riden 7000km on the bike, and only a few months to learn the basic mechanics and maintenance. I consoled myself, that there would never be a time where I would feel ready enough, and the best way to learn is on the job, so to speak.

LHMP was hosts again this year to the 2nd Round MX, where  the circuit soil is well suited to the seasonal wet conditions. The next 4 rounds will be in the north during the dry season.

The best thing to happen to Zambian MX this year, is to see the kids arrive with their dads and mums, which really added the missing dimension to our motocross. The Pits soon filled up with cars and bikes and tents, while bikes and riders queued up to be entered and scrutinee...

The G4s Siavonga which was held from the 30th of June to the second of July was a Motorcycle and Quad Social trail ride starting on Trent Farm in Mazabuka, Zambia and riding down the Zambezi Escarpment to end at Eagles Rest Camp in Siavonga on the shores of Lake Kariba. This event is now in it’s 9th year and is always well attended.
