MOTOCROSS: TEAM UGANDA STARTS PREPS

The national team on Sunday started training for the FIM Motocross of Africa Nations (FIMOAN) due August 31 to September 2 in Zimbabwe.


However, Team Uganda will need sh192m to be able to take a full squad of 34 riders if they are to reclaim the trophy last won in 2012.

The national motocross governing body announced a 23man squad to Zambia for the FIM Africa Motocross championship due on August 17 to 19 in Zambia with riders from the Blick and Katete racing teams missing.


Diana Karugaba, the team leader said the Blick and Kateete teams did not confirm their registration.

1st round of the Uganda National Enduro Championship 2012

The 1st round of the Uganda National Enduro Championship 2012 was organised by Enduro Uganda Club.  The event was held on private estates belonging to Fiduga Flower farm and Nsimbe Estates, 22 kilometers on Kampala Masaka Highway.
